Pardon our mess!

Our library renovation has begun! Maurice Bailey (on the roof) of Sapelo Island is our contractor. He'll be replacing the roof and siding, and adding new windows to replace those that have rotted. Please check back and follow our progress. We're so excited about our makeover!

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Hog Hammock Public Library is being renovated! This site lets you watch our progress. Renovation projects include a new roof, windows, electrical outlets, plumbing and flooring.

This project is funded by a Major Repair and Renovation (MRR) Program grant from the state of Georgia and by matching private donations.

Our library building was once the island's school house. Hog Hammock Public Library is proud to carry on the building's legacy of learning.

Please explore our renovation blog and learn more about how you can get involved in this exciting project.
